The Talbot is Stourbridge's oldest (and most haunted) hotel, standing as a part of the high street since the 17th century. In 2023 Friendly Neighbourhood Cinema held a screening of Stanley Kubrick's The Shining, in a ballroom 300 years older than the fictional Overlook Hotel.
