Friendly Neighbourhood Cinema’s Earth Day debut at Katie Fitzgeralds! Celebrating the late special effects sensei Douglas Trumbull, with a screening of his sci-fi masterpiece SILENT RUNNING.
After the entire flora goes extinct, ecologist Lowell (Bruce Dern) maintains a greenhouse aboard a space station for the future with his android companions. However, he is soon ordered to destroy them for a cargo.
